If you are thinking of homeschooling your children you will have to comply with the laws of your state. Each state have different home school laws. There are websites that will show you the law for your state.
Some of the laws will have higher demands for homeschooling, while there are some states that will only have minimal requirements.
You will want to know what you will have to do so that you are not in violation of regulations. Usually some of the laws are that you have to have yearly testing just as they do in public schools, They will tell you how many hours you will have to teach your children, how many days you have to have school in progress and some will tell you how many classes of each subject you will need to teach.
